Andy Tay received his PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles, focusing on neuromodulation and engineering. He subsequently completed his postdoctoral training at Stanford University where he developed nanotechnologies for immuno-engineering. Andy Tay is currently a Presidential Young Professor at the National University of Singapore. The Tay lab is dedicated to developing innovative approaches for cancer immunotherapy and tissue repair by harnessing the immune system. Their work leverages the use of biomaterials and nanotechnology. Andy Tay is a recipient of international awards including the Christopher Hewitt Outstanding Young Investigator Award and Terasaki Young Innovator Award.
