HTA, has long been committed to environmental sustainability, a fact well known to its customers. HTA equipment is consistently designed with a focus on energy and gas efficiency, ensuring minimal environmental impact wherever possible.
But the HTA’s commitment goes beyond that. The very concept of universality — which is the foundation of HTA automation systems — ensures that they are 'recyclable' by definition. Even when the coupled analyser is no longer in use, HTA instruments are not discarded: they can be repurposed or recycled for other analysers, extending lifespan and usefulness.
This "green" mentality has materialized over time through concrete actions.

Subscribe for FREEA couple of years ago, a green revolution began with a complete redesign of packaging materials. To reduce environmental footprint, packaging was reengineered to meet one or more of the following criteria: reusable, made from recycled materials, or recyclable. Whenever possible, eco-friendly alternatives were chosen, ensuring that new materials offer the same, if not superior, protection and performance. Today, more than 90% of packaging materials are environmentally friendly.
More recently, another significant step was taken: outdated, paper-based manuals have been replaced with digital instruction manuals. All documentation and software related to HTA instruments are now provided exclusively in digital format through the HTA Customer Portal, which relies on servers powered by renewable energy.
Commitment to sustainability was further demonstrated this year with the relocation to a new, larger headquarters designed to support the company growth. In line with green principles, the choice was made to renovate an existing building rather than construct a new one, preserving green spaces and minimizing environmental impact. The renovation process not only optimized space but also prioritized energy efficiency by incorporating advanced insulation, energy-saving systems, and renewable energy sources
By adopting sustainable solutions, HTA makes significant strides toward a greener future. And there is no doubt: sustainability will remain at the core of HTA operations for years to come.
